Signature Programs

The Aeon Institute for Advanced Mathematics is the only program in the world that unites exceptional math students in grades 6 to 12 through a global community, advanced coursework, research publication mentorship, and a customized path to pursue a diploma in advanced mathematics. This rigorous program challenges students to examine mathematical breakthroughs from 17,000 BCE to the present, deepening their understanding of the reasoning behind modern mathematics and equipping them to shape the mathematics of the future.

Aeon’s Flex Program meets the needs of students requiring flexibility for athletics, arts, competitions, or other extracurricular pursuits. Rather than penalizing them for absences or overwhelming them with makeup work, the Flex Program acknowledges the increasingly hybrid nature of education. Our partner schools, including Avenues The World School in New York City, host the students, while Aeon provides the curriculum, platform, and teaching staff. This model allows schools to support specialized student populations by offering unparalleled flexibility while maintaining academic excellence.

J-Term features two mini-terms, one in January and one in June, giving students access to future-focused deep dives, advanced coursework intensives, and lively in-person gatherings that bring together families and peers. With built-in flexibility, J-Term also allows students to prioritize wellness or explore extracurricular passions. True to our mission, this dynamic and immersive learning experience empowers students to shape the world around them.

Mastery invites high school students to chart their own academic path through a self-directed, credit-bearing course grounded in curiosity, rigor, and real-world relevance. The program is selective, open to students with strong academic standing and a clear commitment to independent work. Supported by a faculty advisor, each student develops an independent project—whether writing a screenplay, researching climate tech, studying poetry in translation, or pursuing any other idea they’re ready to explore. Foundational reading, weekly goal-setting, and regular coaching sessions provide structure along the way. More than a path to a final product, Mastery offers students the chance to take real ownership of their learning—and discover how far their ideas can go.
